- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.T.C.) OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.T.C.), in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002. OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by RCI. OR
- Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.T.C.)
- Note: A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/Disabled) candidates.
